Konstantinos Th. Spiropoulos (b. 1998) is an art historian and critical theorist, a graduate of the Department of Theory and History of Art at the Athens School of Fine Arts. His work focuses on contemporary curatorial practice, with particular emphasis on the development of conceptual frameworks and on connecting artistic production with broader public discourse.

He has curated numerous solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, and collaborates with cultural institutions and private organizations on projects related to research, exhibition-making and the strategic development of cultural initiatives. In parallel, he provides advisory services to artists, supporting the positioning of their practice within international contexts and the articulation of coherent narratives around their work.

His writing spans newspapers and art magazines in Greece, where he publishes essays, criticism, and interviews on contemporary art and theory. In 2024, he introduced the term Avant-Garde Hermeticism to articulate the visual language of artists such as Marcel Duchamp, Anselm Kiefer, and Raymond Douillet, a concept he continues to expand through lectures, publications, and curatorial projects.

His work engages with questions of image theory, the imagination as a cognitive function, and the study of symbolic and conceptual forms within Western, Eastern and Mediterranean traditions. His research moves between the history of ideas, philosophy and the interpretation of cultural forms, with particular attention to the role of symbolic structures in systems of knowledge transmission, including tradition, texts, ritual practices and experimental metaphysics.

He is the Founder, Artistic Director, and Head Curator of the Cycladic Biennale, the largest art fair in a Greek island archipelago, hosted in the Cyclades.
